Over the summer of 2011, I worked as a photographer at Windham-Tolland 4-H Camp in Pomfret, Ct. It was an experience that I am lucky to have had. It taught me how to deal with deadlines, time management, last minute errors, and sometimes difficult tasks. On a day to day basis I shot hundreds of photos and videos. These photos and videos were all edited, by me, into a weekly 20-30 minute movie which I showed and sold to the campers at the end of every week. I also took pictures of each cabin, as well as an all camp photo, like the one above. I was able to work with some of the best staff and campers I have ever met. This summer, I hope to do the same. Only this time around, I have a new HD video camera for interviews and Adobe Premiere Elements 10. These are all tools that I hope will improve the quality of my movies.
Through this blog I hope to gain insight on my photography through the help of all of you! I will try to post a picture each day and look forward to feedback on how I can improve my shots. Any constructive and helpful criticism is always welcome from fellow photographers and outsiders opinions!
